Quartz

When deciding what to name our artist we wanted something to distinguish her from other artists, something different and unusual but something that also fits her genre and look. So we searched different indie pop artists and what kind of name they have and how it represents their music and character. Because our artist is quite young ,independent,carefree and feminine we researched different gem names and found quartz, this name seem to represent our artist perfectly as it stands for origin which our artist is as shes experimenting with the indie pop genre and other genres.
