Establishing shots are used conventionally in indie pop music videos as it can create significant meaning or can shows where the artist is. Some artists use establishing shots just for the aesthetic it creates. For an example Symbion project- Arcadain uses multiple establishing shots of the location they are at but it also looks visually pleasing to the viewers.
